Michael Lacobee

Lead Pastor
Michael and his wife, Heather, both grew up in Springfield and served at Crossway Baptist Church. Michael completed his Biblical Studies degree at Luther Rice before being called to plant a church in Omaha, Nebraska.

Michael became the lead pastor of River Stone Fellowship in 2017. The Lacobees have four children: Adalay, Millie, Nora, and Elsie. 

Courtney Ennis

Operations Pastor
Courtney and his wife, Emily, also grew up in Springfield. They met at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, where Courtney served in the youth ministry. He moved to Stonebridge in 2005, soon becoming the youth pastor.

Courtney became the executive pastor of River Stone Fellowship in 2017. The Ennis' have two children: Lucy and Liam.

Billy Bruner

Director of Children's Ministry
Billy is from Cherryville, MO, after completing his education in Leadership Billy and his wife Crystal moved to Republic, MO and Billy began a teaching career with Springfield Public Schools.

Billy became the Director of Children's Ministry in 2018. The Bruner's have six children: William, Joshua, Isaac, Abby, Audrey, and Lily.

Ryan Heffernon

Director of Student Ministries
Ryan grew up in Springfield and has spent nearly his entire life at River Stone Fellowship. He graduated from Evangel with a minor in Youth Ministry and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity (M.Div) with a concentration in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry.

Ryan became the Director of Student Ministries in 2017.

Bryan Root

Worship Director
Bryan and Amanda are from Smithville, Missouri. He studied music at UMKC and Evangel University. The Root family came to River Stone in January 2021.

Bryan began leading worship with us in July of 2021. The Roots have three daughters: Milly, Frances, and Hazel  

Josh Zuniga

Discipleship Pastor
Director of Freeway South
Josh grew up in Springfield, MO. After completing the Freeway Discipleship program he went on to lead a Discipleship house for Freeway Ministries and received an Bachelors degree from Baptist Bible College. He married his wife Alex in 2019.

Josh became the Director of Freeway South in 2019.
January 2021, Josh was called as the Discipleship Pastor.
